I have bet on countless of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years back with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
