I have played countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
