I have gambled on countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 bet
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
