Blackjack Is Like A Rollercoaster

Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. It is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you build up your bank roll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops out.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a roller coaster the similarities are spooky. As is the case with the popular fair experience, your black jack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going well for a while before it bottoms out one more time. You have to be a player that can readjust to the ups … downs of the game especially given that the game of black jack is choked full with them.

If you like the mini coaster, a coaster that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a larger wager, then jump aboard for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster crazy ride because they are not thinking about the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s an awesome feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you do not, you might not naturally recall how much you enjoyed everything while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a thrilling ride and your head in the sky. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will be reminded of that catastrophic drop as clear as day.
